Happy 2018!

Posted on January 2, 2018 By Angela Chang

I received an email today stating that Muay Ying has been put on a list of the top 75 Muay Thai blogs. To my pleasant surprise, Muay Ying was ranked at #44!Muay Thai Blogs

In their words, the ranking is based on:

The Best Muay Thai blogs from thousands of top Muay Thai blogs in our index using search and social metrics. Data will be refreshed once a week.

These blogs are ranked based on following criteria

  • Google reputation and Google search ranking
  • Influence and popularity on Facebook, twitter and other social media sites
  • Quality and consistency of posts.
  • Feedspot’s editorial team and expert review

You can see the entire list here.

This brings me to reflect on the type of work done on Muay Ying. Because of lack of time and resources, I haven’t been able to work and deliver posts and news as much as I’d like to. I am still trying to do my best to provide news and ongoing matters that aren’t regularly covered by the other news outlets. My goal is still the same in that I want to achieve equality for females when it comes fighting and knowledge of female fighters. Long story short, I hope 2018 is a better year for Muay Ying and we can better achieve that goal.

Thank you for your support and comments! They mean the world to me.

The first Thai Fight event to have females on the card ended with an extraordinary number of knockouts. Unfortunately, they did not air the females fights on TV so I am still looking for videos of those fights. The fight between Rosa and Phetchnapa went the distance, but Walorska had the…
