Potion Fight Night’s Debut Event

Potion Fight Night held its debut event on February 6 in Bangkok. The event boasted a multi-sport card, containing both boxing and MMA bouts, all but one under amateur rules. There were two women’s matchups on the card, both under amateur boxing rules. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, it was held in a location that was given only to people who needed to attend the event as a fighter, coach, venue staff, or media personnel.

Upcoming Docuseries on Woman Fighters in Thailand – Collaboration with Jojo Immortals

We want to do a documentary series, and that project can eventually lead to other projects within the Muay Thai community (with focus still on women, of course). We will give spotlight to the fighters in Thailand that have little to no name outside of the country, yet are serious powerhouses when it comes to skill and grit. We want to create a series of short biographical videos for each of these fighters.

COVID-19 is Back in Thailand. And Muay Thai is Gone. Again.

Thailand was doing so well. The country had their lockdown, had their share of hardships, opened back up domestically (then internationally with restrictions), and was praised for what they did to contain the novel coronavirus and “flatten the curve” relatively quickly.

But now the country is reverting back to familiar stages, putting many in a state of anxiety and unemployment. And, no more Muay Thai. Again. What happened?
